2 Police Officers Killed in Bay St. Louis Shooting
According to officials, early Wednesday morning found two police officers dead from gunshot wounds in the city of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. According to a tweet that came from the governor’s verified account, Branden Estorffe and Steven Robin were the names of the cops that were killed in the shooting in Mississippi.
“I am completely devastated by the news of the tragic deaths of two courageous law enforcement officers. Reeves added in his letter that he was praying for the victims’ families, friends, and fellow cops, as well as for the entire town of Bay St. Louis. “The bravery and selflessness of these pioneers will not be forgotten by the people of Mississippi,”

According to a press statement issued by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, the two officers responded to a call for service that was placed at Motel 6 which was located on Highway 90. The officers came across a woman who shot both of them and then turned the gun on herself before fleeing the scene. One cop passed away at the scene of the incident, while the other officer was rushed to the hospital but ultimately also passed away there.
