Sylvester Stallone put his marital problems behind him in order to upload a nostalgic photo with his daughters. On Instagram, the actor posed in a boxing ring with his three children from his divorce from Jennifer Flavin. In the vintage photograph, he and his daughters raise their fists in homage to Sylvester’s most well-known character, Rocky.
He then uploaded a picture of Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20, as they appear now. The 76-year-old captioned the photo with the statement “ALWAYS KEEP PUNCHING!” which might be seen as a battle cry for what is occurring in his life at the moment.

The article was published two weeks after the Hollywood actor’s 25-year-old wife filed for divorce. Jennifer, a former model who is 22 years younger than her husband at age 54, has accused him of “hiding assets.” Jennifer allegedly accused the star in divorce documents obtained by TMZ of transferring assets from their joint marital funds.
Jennifer has reportedly requested sole domain over their Palm Beach residence in advance of the divorce procedures. The day before the divorce was made public on August 24, Sylvester visited a tattoo parlor to hide a large tattoo of his wife’s face with an image of his dog, Butkus.

It was in stark contrast to a statement Jennifer made in her court documents, in which she states, “The parties’ marriage is irretrievably broken.” Since then, his wife has unfollowed him on Instagram and posted a photo with their three daughters alongside the caption, “These girls are my priority.” Nothing else is relevant. The unknown is what went wrong between the couple, who recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. In May of this year, Sylvester commemorated the anniversary by describing his wife as “wonderful and selfless.”

Though the three young women have yet to comment on the breakup, an insider believes that the family strife will be beneficial for the Stallone daughters’ careers, as their father, 76, allegedly tried to prevent them from pursuing Hollywood gigs.
Jennifer has always wanted her daughters to spread their wings and become more prominent in the industry, but it’s nearly impossible to do so, even when you’re out of the house when you have a traditional Italian father leading the family, the source explained. The dissolution of this marriage will alter the course of everyone’s lives, but the Stallone sisters are poised to do great things now that they are no longer restrained.
Flavin filed for divorce last month, and while one insider said Sylvester Stallone was “blindsided” by her actions, others think it was a long time coming. According to a source, the estranged couple “are very different people, age-wise and in temperament,” and the model disliked that he “tends to do things on the spur of the moment without asking her first.”
“Little disagreements add up after so many years together,” said the insider, while another said, “It wasn’t just one issue that prompted her to file for divorce; they’ve had numerous issues for years, and she’d had enough.”
