A Woman Has Been Accused in the Shooting Murder of Her Husband in Their Home Bedroom

According to the officials, a lady from Oklahoma has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of her husband in February. According to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Katie Lee is suspected of shooting her husband James Lee once in the chest on February 1. The incident occurred on February 1.

According to the documents from the jail, she was hauled into custody this week on a charge of murder in the first degree. The investigators started to get concerned when they saw that Lee’s narrative of what happened was inconsistent.

Pottawatomie County Undersheriff J.T. Palmer told NBC affiliate KFOR of Oklahoma City that the woman “gave numerous scenarios,” ranging from the pistol going off by itself to a case of self-defense when her husband became aggressive. “She told multiple versions,”

According to the officials, Lee also relocated the security cameras inside the residence and hid a DVR that had the film. The DVR was eventually discovered hiding in a laundry basket. According to the investigators, the tape only showed a flare from the gunshot and did not show her spouse assaulting her.

According to information provided by Mr. Palmer to KFOR, “you can see where the pistol goes off based on where she’s standing and where he’s standing, and there was no danger at that moment or at any other time during that night.”

The investigators claim that Lee then forced her son, who was 18 at the time, to assist her in concealing the weapon, and that her son dumped it into a pond after doing so. After further investigation, the gun was located, and now it is up to the District Attorney to determine whether or not to press charges against the son. On Saturday, it was unclear whether or not Lee had a counsel representing him.
