After a Shooting in Orange County, One Person Was Killed and Another Was Hospitalized
Two persons were shot in Orange County early Friday morning. It happened around 5 a.m. in the 7000 block of Southland Boulevard, near Orange Blossom Trail, according to Orange County officials. When deputies arrived, they discovered two guys in their twenties with gunshot wounds.
Both men were taken to the hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The other is still in critical condition. The shooting took place at a shopping center. The center was closed to the public for much of the day.
Lakeland police: A mother, her four-year-old, and nine-year-old sons were discovered dead in a submerged automobile in the lake. Deputies eventually permitted the shopping center to reopen. Employees and company owners had to wait until then.

“I’m not sure how that happened, but I don’t like the notion of it happening so close to where I work.” “Jaydah Azeed, who works nearby, agreed. Saeed stated that she was surprised to see so many deputies outside of the building where she works.
Deputies kept crime scene tape up outside the LaBelle Caribbean Restaurant after the majority of the shopping plaza opened. WESH 2 requested a statement from the restaurant regarding the shooting. “This is really where folks want to hang out.
