The engagement news was shared on Instagram on Tuesday by Kate Bosworth and Justin Long. Long captioned a picture of the “Blue Crush” actor flashing her engagement ring on Instagram with the words “She said YES.”
He continued by expressing his “everlasting gratitude” for having “discovered a companion who makes every day SO full, whose simple existence IS a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me giggle from the moment we wake up till the one I begrudgingly fall asleep.”
“If life is brief, find the person who gives you unending tranquility and awe-inspiring wonder. Bosworth stated in her message, “@justinlong I am so grateful it’s you. In an interview with Bosworth that aired on Tuesday’s episode of Long’s “Life is Short” podcast, she said that Long had proposed to her that morning as the two lay in bed.
She described the proposal as “simply the most romantic, loving, and honest.” The comedy-horror movie “House of Darkness,” in which they both starred, brought the couple together in 2021. They began dating in April 2022 after being seen together in Hawaii.

When Bosworth was spotted with a ring on her ring finger at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party last month, there was initial speculation that Long had proposed. Bosworth and her ex-husband Michael Polish announced their separation in August 2021, after 10 years of marriage.
