Oliver Taylor Hawkins, an American musician who lived from February 17, 1972, until March 25, 2022, is most known for being the rock group Foo Fighters drummer, with whom he collaborated on nine studio albums between 1997 and 2021. He was the touring drummer for Sass Jordan, Alanis Morissette, and the progressive experimental band Sylvia before he joined the group in 1997.

It feels like the heart of a runner.’ And that’s all right. He said the only thing was that he thought I had sleep apnea. And my wife always tells me that I snore and make weird noises while sleeping.

In his 2021 book, The Storyteller, Hawkins called him “my brother from another mother, my best friend, and a man for whom I would take a bullet.”
