New information has emerged about the accident that injured actor Jeremy Renner. Renner was taken to a hospital on Sunday after experiencing a “weather-related mishap” while shoveling snow. There were no additional specifics released about what happened, other than that Renner was in “critical but stable condition” as a result of the collision.
TMZ has obtained new information about the accident, stating that he was airlifted quickly after the accident at roughly 9:50 a.m. on Sunday. According to eyewitnesses, Renner had been plowing the road near his home after a recent storm so his family could get out.
An accident occurred, causing the Snowcat he was driving to run over one of the Hawkeye star’s legs. Renner was stated to be bleeding heavily later, at which point a doctor’s neighbor placed a tourniquet on the damaged leg to stop the bleeding.
According to reports, the actor’s injuries are “severe,” with other areas of his body wounded in addition to his leg wound. The Snowcat has been impounded as police investigate the incident. They’re investigating how the plowing equipment ran over Renner, as “extensive safety systems” are supposed to be in place to prevent something like this from happening.

According to TMZ, the first responders’ audio revealed that they were anxious about not being able to attend the accident site due to weather conditions. Renner has mentioned how severe the snow was in Lake Tahoe, where the tragedy occurred.
On December 12, he tweeted a photo of a vehicle totally buried in snow, revealing that he had to dig his way to the door to gain entrance. “Lake Tahoe snowfall is no laughing matter,” Renner wrote. Renner, Jeremy Is in a critical but stable state.
