Stevland Hardaway was the man. Stevie Wonder is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who creates music in a variety of genres, including rhythm and blues, jazz, soul, gospel, funk, and pop, among others.
His stage name is Stevie Morris, but he is better known by his professional moniker, Stevie Wonder. He was born on May 13th, 1950 in the city of Saginaw, which is located in the state of Michigan, in the United States. Stevie was born six weeks before his due date, which resulted in retinopathy of prematurity.
This condition has caused Stevie to be blind since he was a youngster. At a young age, Wonder began playing various instruments, including the drums, piano, and harmonica. He received his education at the Fitzgerald Elementary School. After some time, he decided to attend the Michigan School for the Blind.
Stevie Wonder wrote and performed his first original song, “Lonely Boy,” for Ronnie White in 1961 when he was only 11 years old. He was brought in for a tryout at Motown, where CEO Berry Gordy ultimately decided to sign him to the Motown Tamla Label.

Wonder was entrusted into the care of producer Clarence Paul, and the two of them collaborated closely over the course of two years to make two albums: “Tribute to Uncle Ray” and “Ray Charles’s songs.” The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie, With a Song in My Heart, Up-Tight, Down to Earth, I Was Made to Love Her, For Once in My Life, and a number more CDs are among his discography offerings.

Stevie Wonder has gone through three different marriages in his life. Syreeta Wright was given priority from 1970 until 1972. He wed Kai Millard in 2001, but they later divorced the following year. In 2017, he fulfilled his long-held dream and wed Tomeeka Bracy. Wonder has nine children. He is the recipient of a Grammy Achievement Award in 1996 in addition to his 25 Grammy Awards.
