Nj Troopers Have Named the Three Women Who Died in the Parkway Accident
The three people who lost their lives in the three-vehicle collision that occurred on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday night have been named. Ajene Brodie, 25, from Shrewsbury was identified as the driver, and the passengers were Detriona Young, 26, and Janiyah Rudolph, 24, both from Asbury Park.
They were all riding together in a Nissan Sentra which was moving through the southbound local lanes close to Exit 118. According to Brandi Slota, a trooper with the State Police, the car was engaged in a collision with a Nissan Maxima at approximately 7:20 p.m. that involved a sideswipe.

Slota was unaware of how the three people died in connection with each other. After leaving the roadway, the Sentra collided with a metal post, flipped over, and then crashed into a tree. According to Slota, the circumstances behind the collision, which occurred early Tuesday morning, are still being investigated.
According to the records kept by the State Police, there have been seventeen fatalities occurred on the Garden State Parkway this year. On July 10th and 22nd, a medical helicopter made an emergency landing on the Garden State Parkway near Aberdeen.
